Training Resettlement

A modular 6 week (30 days in total) Resettlement Programme aimed at cross training Service leavers with an engineering background into the medical engineering sector covering both NHS and private organisations. Capital Medical is an Enhanced Learning Credit provider where our NOCN accredited programme is mapped to the occupational standard and comprises of the following:

Module 1

Introduction to Cardiovascular Equipment

Module 2

Physiological Monitoring & Infusion Equipment

Module 3

Theatre & Surgical Equipment

Module 5

Introduction to Anaesthetic & Theatre Equipment

Work Placement

5 days placement at a local NHS facility to gain work experience

Each module ends with both theoretical and practical examinations, course reports and exam results are sent to the candidate once all training and placement has been completed.

Each of the modules lasts between 5 and 10 days.
